Another great Idea from TED: How Great Leaders Inspire Action

If you aren’t already aware of who or what TED (Technology Entertainment and Design) is about, first check out this article describing the organization. If you’re already familiar with TED and their famous TEDtalks, you’ll definitely want to watch this very inspirational and informative speech given by Simon Sinek about leadership and inspiration by describing just what it is that tech company Apple, the Wright brothers, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. all have in common (and why people wait  in line for overnight  for new iPhones). What they have in common is explained in great detail, culminating in one of the most memorable (and one of my favorite)  lines that I took away from this video in “People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it.”

To say this video is a must-see for anyone who considers themselves a leader is putting it lightly.  There are leaders and then there are those who lead. Which one are you?
